Sigh, where should i start? I swear to god i. Can. Not. Stand. These fuss over PPSMI. Statistics show that majority think its best and majority of students are coping well. But the problem here is, why the feck are all these old men yang sibuk2? Your time has passed, dont burden ours with your _ opinions goddamnit. Cakap nanti lupa bahasa kebangsaan lah, budak2 susah nak belajar lah. Excuses. People would never, like really, NEVER, forget their mother tongue. Lain lah kalau five year olds pindah ikut their parents to overseas and live there for years, tu memang lah kut. Ni kita yang duduk kat Malaysia ni, hari2 cakap bahasa melayu, even though we still speak english every now and then doesnt mean were forgetting our bahasa kebangsaan. Diorang ni tak fikir ke, they are making themselves look foolish.
Nak cakap budak2 susah nak belajar in English? Memang lah, dah nama budak2, they will learn. I bet theyre saying maths is really hard, regardless in what language. So, nak tukar maths? Cuba pergi tanya college students ke, or even young adults who are working. I bet their gonna agree with PPSMI. Why wouldnt they? It would only make their, our, lives easier. In university, most of the subjects are in english, tak ke susah kena belajar balik just because before this you learnt it in bahasa so its kind of hard to fully understand and explain? (they should teach accounting and economics in English as well in my opinion! T_T) As for young adults, i think it would be better if this program had been done muuch earlier. Besides making it easier to learn in higher education, itll help in being fluent in English as well. Tengok lah sekarang, semua nak orang yang can speak english je. Okay, maybe not all lah, but almost all. Kalau English tak okay, but can speak mandarin/cantonese, no problem. Cause lets face it, tak ramai orang melayu yang ada company besar2. Kalau ada pun they still want their workers to be fluent in English.
Besides that, nak compare Malaysia dengan China, Jepun, German, France etc (no offense)? I mean, like T___T ?!?!?! Yes, diorang maju and guna their bahasa kebangsaan as bahasa perantaraan. First, tengok lah their country besar mana, second, tengoklah their rakyat macam mana, third, tengoklah their technology. Macam mana lah tak maju? Kita ada apa? Nak belajar science and maths pun susah, ni nak sibuk2 jadikan Malaysia maju with bahasa kebangsaan. Memang tak lah kut? Geez, i am so bothered by this, i find it bloody stupid lah okay T_T
Ah, i know this all about politics, but really? Using future generations' education as an opportunity, as a platform, for you to use it against your opponent cause youre not satisfied with some things? Are you that selfish? THE FUTURE GENERATIONs', THE FUTURE LEADERs', education is on the line. (I know im making it sound like its the matter of life or death, i know it wont kill them if the kementerian decided to change back to bahasa, but im just saying, itll only make their lives easier, whats so bad about that?)
I miss Tun Mahathir T_T Okay even though i was kind of young to understand politics when he was in charge, i could still remember being captivated by his speeches etc. Ive never been captivated with speeches regarding politics since then :/ Eh, except for Umi's theories :) I. Love. Her. :)
Haih, politics. Im actually scared of the future, our politics, where, how we will be. Melayu sekarang suka cari pasal je entah kenapa. Kalau cari pasal dengan orang bukan melayu yang cari pasal dengan diorang dulu tu okay lagi lah. Ni tak, cari pasal dengan kaum sendiri jugak. Pelik betul. Tak pasal2 orang melayu yang lain pulak yang kena label. And kalau ya pun nak fight for what YOU think is right, tak payah lah guna nama Islam. Like Ayun said on one of her post regarding this issue. Sumpah memalukan. Dah la fakta tak betul, sebab tak semestinya if you think its right, it is really right, in this case, memang tak betul pun. Macam suicide bombers lah. Konon jihad, padahal tekan one switch terus letupkan innocent children, women, people. Jihad apa tu? -Okay, sebelum terpesong lagi mendalam-
Haih, macam mana lah orang tak cakap, "ha, biasalah, melayu" or, "erk, fikiran melayu betul" or, "oh orang yang berfikiran melayu memang macam tu, takkan maju punya".
